Dr Czechowicz graduated in medicine from Adelaide University in 1994. He completed undergraduate training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and undertook Dermatology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre as well as the Royal Hospital Haslar in the United Kingdom. He was awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2002, and subsequently worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at the University Hospital North Durham in the United Kingdom.
Upon returning to Adelaide in 2003, he became an associate at Dermatology SA and Director of Training for the Australasian College of Dermatologists in South Australia for 3 years. He is still actively involved in lecturing and supervision of medical students and Dermatology registrars, as well as lecturing general practitioners and GP registrars on all aspects of Dermatology care. He is a consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital Dermatology Department.
His special interests are skin cancer, eczema, psoriasis and paediatric Dermatology.
He consults privately at the dermatology SA rooms at Dulwich, Salisbury and Mount Barker.
