Dermatology Nursing Staff

Our dermatology nurses:

Jayde RN Manager4

Work in conjunction with the medical staff, and play an important role in:

  • assisting during surgery
  • applying postoperative dressings
  • suture removal and wound care
  • operating the phototherapy machines
  • photodynamic therapy for treatment of skin cancers and actinic damage.
  • patch test application
  • assisting during laser and radio frequency treatments

If you have any concerns about your wound in the days following surgery, please ask to speak to one of our nurses and they can arrange for you to come in to have your wound reviewed at a time that suits you.

Our Receptionists

Our receptionists will be able to help you with

  • booking or changing clinic appointments
  • arranging a narrowband UVB phototherapy treatment schedule for you
  • scheduling your surgery on a date that is convenient for you

When you speak to one of our receptionists to make an appointment, remember to specify which clinic location you wish to be seen at.

If you are unable to attend your clinic appointment, please remember to call ahead in advance to cancel or reschedule.

Computerised case notes

In 2010, our group made a transition towards a more efficient, paperless office. Appointments and the clinical record are entered into software powered by Genie solutions. Pathology results are automatically integrated into the clinical record. This information is backed up at a central server at our Dulwich clinic and is accessible from each of our clinic locations.
